EBE have built a new cornerstone into the musical establishment since their genesis at the turn of this century. Within the past six years, they have written, recorded, and performed some of the most Earth-shattering music to come out of America since the cultural explosion of the late Sixties. This is why they have given themselves the daunting task of ushering in a new era of music as a powerful cultural and artistic platform. Something needs to unify us, why not music from space?

This too shall pass" is an adage reflecting on the temporary nature, or ephemerality, of the human condition. The general sentiment is often expressed in wisdom literature throughout history and across cultures, although the specific phrase seems to have originated in the writings of the medieval Persian Sufi poets. It is known in the Western world primarily due to a 19th-century retelling of Persian fable by the English poet Edward FitzGerald.

This too Shall Pass is the debut album of Chicago-based rock group The Fold. It was released in February 2006 on Tooth and Nail Records and features fourteen tracks. The title is a reference to the phrase "This, too, shall pass". This Too Shall Pass E-Card.

This Too Shall Pass sounds a lot like what would happen if Weezer and Fall Out Boy merged, the obvious difference being the message. The Fold addresses themes with more maturity and gusto than most of their counterparts  . This Too Shall Pass is fourteen succulent tracks that are simply a joy to behold. It's rewarding to find such a talented act that remains unashamedly Christian. Perhaps a bit too generic in places, but we'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Experience will play a hand as this band continues to grow and mature. Musically this album is pleasant but a bit too safe and basic, and overproduction is still a problem, but the riffs and melodies are a bit more distinctive than most commercial power-pop emo bands. I'm just in shock that Tooth And Nail would sign a band with a singer who actually sings.
