We Are The Dury is a unreleased interview CD by Gorillaz. This CD was sent out in all territories from April - May 2005 in preparation for the "Demon Days" album launch. It was very different to the first Gorillaz interview release, in that the answers to the questions were more in-depth and discursive. The running time of all the tracks adds up to almost an hour. The voice acting is also much improved from Phase One. The Gorillaz dialogue was 'spin doctored', .

The beginning for Gorillaz, Gorillaz released their Debut Album "Gorillaz" on 26 March 2001. Spawning their first big hit "Clint Eastwood" Alongside other singles "19-2000," "Rock The House" and "Tomorrow Comes Today. A B-Side Compilation called "G-Sides" was also released to help boost sales in Japan. It's a MUST read if you are interested in the Gorillaz story line! Yet another interview CD was created for Radio Promotion. We Are The Dury" interviews Gorillaz focusing on the reformation of the band and the creation of Demon Days. Just like Phase One, a DVD containing video clips, sketches and other cool stuff was released called "Phase Two: Slowboat To Hades. Once again it includes most of what was mentioned above with some cool extras.

Gorillaz are known for rejecting mainstream music and idol worship, and of course for their awesome animated band members. Created by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, we first met the band in 2001 with their single "Clint Eastwood" and later enjoyed the hit "Feel Good In., and luckily, the Gorillaz are back for more.
