Album: We’re Here to the End. Released: 2010.
The 15th album by Northern Irish punk rockers Therapy? is also their first live recorded album. Weighing in at a hefty 36 songs and coming in at just over 2 hours in length, it’s a solid look at the band’s back catalogue. Recorded over a three day residency at London’s Monto Water Rats venue, the album takes the strongest songs from these dates and puts them together in one package. Although it handpicks tracks from different sessions, the album doesn’t lack in continuity and ultimately flows together nicely, completely glossing over the fact it’s not one sole performance.

We are sitting in the home studio of Tommy Brown, Grande’s close friend and a producer on Thank U, Next, at the end of a noiseless cul-de-sac in Northridge, in the San Fernando Valley. The earthquake that occurred here in 1994, six months after Grande’s birth, was among the strongest ever recorded in an American city. A layer of cloud casts a dull light over the low-lying suburban houses and their front yards dotted with iceberg roses and pepper trees. A large white pearl, her birthstone, glimmers on her finger.
We are Anathema: we're here because we're here. Anathema return on May 31st with their new album, We're Here Because We're Here. This is the first collection of new material from the band since the 2003 album, A Natural Disaster. A multi-coloured, multi-layered work of unbridled emotion, passion, and intensity, the new album has been eagerly anticipated by their legions of fans around the globe. Formed in Liverpool in 1990, the band’s sound and musical vision has continually evolved over the ensuing years while always remaining true to the band’s original goal of creating forward-thinking, meaningful, passionate, and honest music. With each release they moved beyond the boundaries of limited scenes and pigeon holes, creating a complex and emotive atmospheric sound.

How did we get here? We're cast away on a lonely shore I can see in your eyes, dear It's hard to take for a moment more We've got to. Burn the ships, cut the ties Send a flare into the night Say a prayer, turn the tide Dry your tears and wave goodbye. Step into a new day We can rise up from the dust and walk away We can dance upon the heartache, yeah So light a match, leave the past, burn the ships And don't you look back.
