The Mummies have been around a long time, captivating people all over the world with their hypnotic body movements and patented budget rock sound. sville features four masterful tracks that cover nine minutes of running time. Simple and crude these compositions may be, The Mummies rock the out with a strong rhythmic backbone and dangerously catchy hooks not seen since all the royal brother/sister ing was going down back in ancient Egypt. The guitar parts can be quite melodic while being riffy and dirty enough to hang ten that perfect wave. The production values are raw and gritty, nothing like the latest flower power Opeth offerings. Unlike Opeth however, The Mummies have heart. And more musical talent. And more stage presence. In terms of The Mummies vast, progressive discography. sville serves as a tasty appetizer. Delicious but brief, making you hungrier than before.

The Mummies were an American garage punk band formed in San Bruno, California, in 1988. Exhibiting a defiantly raw and lo-fi sound, dubbed "budget rock", the Mummies' rebellious attitude and distinctive performance costumes exerted a major influence on garage punk and garage rock revival acts later in the decade, as well as in the 1990s.

The Mummies are a garage rock band from San Bruno, California, with influences of surf rock, 1950s and 1960s garage rock bands such as The Sonics and more contemporary garage punk bands as Thee Mighty Caesars. Their first show was at the Chi Chi club in San Francisco in December of 1988. The Mummies are especially known for their matching mummy costumes they wore on stage and their impertinent attitude that they brought with them. They have also been known for releasing their music only on vinyl for many years, but have finally given in to the CD format in the 2000s.

Throw her heart
My copy of the blue and black sleeve has the same matrix but is on thin glossy paper and is printed on the inside of the sleeve. Could Mike Goodall be mistaken as far as his description of the sleeve? In addition, I'm pretty sure the first ones that came out were actual black and white high contrast image.

Since posting this my previous comment I have found a copy of the blue and black sleeve and it is indeed blank on the inside. Still need to find a high contrast black and white version.
