The Rising Sons - Shay-Laka-Day album flac

Happy Song/Shay-laka-day from RisingSons () (7'').

Album · 2005 · 12 Songs. O-shen featuring Laka.

On this album the line-up was Gerard Hawes, Eddie Boyle, Dave Campbell, Peter Lynch, Rod Keilly and Malcolm Watson. They were extremely popular on the nightclub circuit, and also had a number of South African Top 20 hits, with "How do you do" going to number 4 in 1972 and "Going down Jordan" to number 7 in 1973. This song is off the album "The Jugglers Rock 'n Boogie Band" released in 1973. It was also released on 7" single in 1973.

The Rising Tide is the fourth and final studio album by American Seattle-based indie rock band Sunny Day Real Estate. It was released on June 20, 2000. It was released in Japan on January 24, 2001 with an acoustic live version of "Television" as a bonus track. This was the band's only album not released on Sub Pop Records.

High (Young Rising Sons song). High" is a song recorded by New Jersey band Young Rising Sons, released as the band's debut single on July 22, 2014. It was featured on their debut self-titled EP on July 22, 2014. It also was featured on The High EP in the form of remixes and acoustic sessions. The song was featured in many advertisements in 2015, such as for Hulu and Pepsi.

The Rising Sons seem to have done things backwards. Built around Taj Mahal, Ry Cooder, and Jesse Lee Kincaid (whose ‘She Sang Hymns Out of Tune’ would later find its way onto records by Nilsson, Hearts and Flowers, and the Dillards), the band would certainly have been deemed a supergroup had it gotten its act together a couple of years down the line. The album opens with Statesboro Blues, the Blind Willie McTell standard, and a barreling take on the Monkees tune Take A Giant Step. Both songs would later be re-cut by Taj Mahal in arguably superior arrangements, but the sides here have a brash recklessness to them that’s both engaging and refreshing. Cooder’s slide guitar and Kincaid’s twelve-string are all over the place, buzzing around the songs and really propelling above your usual late-sixties fare.

Young Rising Sons discusses balancing emotion, creating a new album and more. This coming Thursday, Young Rising Sons will have been around for six years and the group has a lot to be thankful for as do the band's fans By Steven Ruygrok Nov 23, 2015.
