The Sandpipers were an American easy listening trio who carved a niche in 1960s folk rock with their vocals and innovative arrangements of international ballads and pop standards. They are best remembered for their cover version of "Guantanamera", which became a transatlantic Top 10 hit in 1966, and their Top 20 hit "Come Saturday Morning" from the soundtrack of the film. The Sterile Cuckoo in 1970.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the soundtrack to the 1937 Walt Disney film, was the first commercially issued feature film soundtrack. It was released in January 1938 as Songs from Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (with the Same Characters and Sound Effects as in the Film of That Title) and has since seen numerous expansions and reissues. The songs in the film were written by Frank Churchill and Leigh Harline.

This marvelous classic remains fun to see today - in no small part due to the wonderful songs & score of Frank Churchill. Snow White's wonderful songs, such as 'I'm Wishing', 'Some Day My Prince will Come', and 'Whistle While You Work' are the most recognizable tunes, along with the 7 Dwarfs' 'Heigh-Ho' as they return to their cottage from their diamond mine. Great soundtrack, but like most soundtracks from movies it lacks the emotion of the story line involved with each song. If you LOVE the movie and can feel the emotion in the part of the movie the song is for, you will like this. We purchased for our 3 yr old who loves Snow White. She listens to "I'm wishing" and "Hi-HO", but isn't interested in most of the rest.

Snow White sings to a wishing well when the prince suprises her. As he sings to her, she appears from the balcony and immediately falls in with him. 0. k.
