This Old Heart of Mine is the fourth studio album released by The Isley Brothers in 1966, on the Tamla (Motown) label. The album, their first with the seminal Detroit-based music label, yielded the Isleys' biggest hit in their early period with the title track, "This Old Heart of Mine (Is Weak for You)". Other charted singles including "Take Some Time Out for Love" and "I Guess I'll Always Love You".

The Jordan Brothers are a musical group. They were active for thirty years beginning in the mid-1950s. They originated in Frackville, Pennsylvania and achieved high regional popularity in Schuylkill and surrounding counties and Philadelphia. They released over 24 single records on 15 different labels, including several that were self-produced from 1957 until 1984. The brothers are: Joe Jordan (1941-), keyboards and vocals, composing, arranging.
