Trying to unravel the mysteries of Mainframe was like trying to understand the Sudden Sway Spacemate box and its instruction manual. They likely sound far superior to my vinyl rip. I highly recommend both visiting that site and reading this article about the duo. Enlightening and interesting as hell.

In mathematics, a distributive lattice is a lattice in which the operations of join and meet distribute over each other. The prototypical examples of such structures are collections of sets for which the lattice operations can be given by set union and intersection. Indeed, these lattices of sets describe the scenery completely: every distributive lattice is-up to isomorphism-given as such a lattice of sets.
Mainframe computers, created in the early 1940s, initially were bulky machines that required cooling-sensitive rooms. IBM - one of the first manufacturers of mainframes - continues to design and develop complex systems used in many businesses and organizations. Although personal computers are used by the masses, mainframe computers are an important behind-the-scenes aspect of major businesses. Mainframe computers store massive amounts of information. E-Business and E-Commerce. Both e-business and e-commerce use mainframe computers to perform business functions and exchange money over.
The Tenants is a photo album portraying inhabitants of the post-war modernist estates we illustrated and turned into paper model kits and books for the past five years. The pictures capture them in front of their brutalist homes - some just renovated, others awaiting proximate demolition I& not afraid.
Mainframe computers or mainframes (colloquially referred to as "big iron") are computers used primarily by large organizations for critical applications; bulk data processing, such as census, industry and consumer statistics, enterprise resource planning; and transaction processing. They are larger and have more processing power than some other classes of computers: minicomputers, servers, workstations, and personal computers.
