The Falconer's Arm II. Critic Score.

If I've ever seen a half-assed bootleg, this has to be the one. This shady reissue with no licensing information whatsoever, is a low quality replica of original black label Takoma pressing. Print quality of the album cover is awful. Front cover photo is a pixelated blurry mush. Color palette is unnatural and completely off (eg.

Another myserious Basho bootleg. This one is just as bad as Falconer's Arm I that was released around same time. Both of these completely botched reissues were probably made by same people. Print quality of the album jacket is awful. Front cover photo is a pixelated blurry mush with unnatural color palette. Compare this album cover with Takoma's "Bashovia" and you see what I mean.Sound quality is bad. Overall sound is very muddy. There's also a decent amount of surface noise. This reissue was probably sourced from a needle drop. Too bad that they used a worn out copy. I've compared this reissue with Takoma's "Bashovia" compilation (contains 2 of this album's 4 tracks). IMHO CD sounded much better, more balanced and more silent. If any remastering was done for this reissue, it clearly wasn't very succesfull.Pressing quality is also crappy. Record is noisy. It's hard to tell if all the surface noise is due to either crappy source or bad pressing. My copy was also horribly off-centered (just like my reissue of Falconer's Arm I). Another unlistenable copy. Avoid!

Another horribly off-center pressing, resulting in an unlistenable record due to fluctuating pitch.

In regards to the off center pressing. copies I got were fine. I a/b'd this with an original copy and the remaster on this sounds amazing!
Togar
Could just be my copy, but the pressing was so off-center as to be almost unplayable. Not recommended.
Flamekiller
me too, a total waste of money

We have a few copies in stock and they are fine. No off center label problems. A/B'd this to an older pressing and the sound is pretty good. I'd recommend if you can't find an earlier version.
