Telefon Tel Aviv's debut album, FAHRENHEIT FAIR ENOUGH, effortlessly straddled the worlds of IDM and post-rock, blissing out with the gorgeous title track that takes a melody and augments it with percussion that's frenetic but not overwhelming and some processed guitar that subtly blends in. The soft woodwinds and burbling rhythms of TTV soon fade into the watery strums of Lotus Above Water.

Fahrenheit Fair Enough straddles post rock, electronica and even jazz (and as such pretty much reflects the concerns of Hefty Records); chiming guitars and blurred electric piano chords hover above intricate networks of glitches and analogue beats, glued together by warm, sinuous electric bass lines. Imagine Harold Budd and Vini Reilly jamming with Pole on chords donated by Joe Zawinul, and you might be someway there.

Got my copy from a UK seller here.. For some reason mine has a black mark on it.. And it has clicks but lucky for me that part is just "empty" sound.. Overall the pressing is good nice punch to the bass

Had this for months and just tonight got cd and was shocked how fast it was - I've been playing this at 33 all this time and though it was just really really laid back ! It works both ways then I guess !

My copy sound bad. I've heard the Hefty original 2x12" which sound much better than this version, what gives?

Super surprised at how good this actually sounds. I am not a huge fan of colored wax, but Ghostly nailed it both sonically and visually.
