The Ultimate Collection (Four Tops album). The Ultimate Collection is a compact disc by The Four Tops, released on Motown Records, catalogue 314530825-2, in October 1997. It is a collection of singles comprising many of the group's greatest hits, with liner notes written by Stu Hackel. The disc contains all but three of the Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 enjoyed by the Four Tops and released on the Motown Records imprint.
The Four Tops are an American Motown musical quartet, whose repertoire has included doo-wop, jazz, soul music, RnB, disco, adult contemporary, showtunes, and even psychedelic rock. Founded in Detroit, Michigan as The Four Aims, lead singer Levi Stubbs and group mates Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson, and Lawrence Payton remained together for over four decades, finally forced to endure a lineup change when Payton died in 1997.
You Stole My Love" (UK). Basketball is an Atari 2600 video game written by Alan Miller and published by Atari, Inc. in 1979. The cartridge presents a simple game of one-on-one basketball playable by one or two players, one of the few early Atari 2600 titles to have a single-player mode with an AI-controlled opponent. Miller wrote a version of Basketball for the Atari 8-bit family with improved graphics, published in 1979. That same year an arcade version similar to the computer port was released by Atari but in black and white.
After nd left Motown in 1967, the Four Tops were assigned to a number of producers, primarily Frank Wilson, but generally with less success. Four Tops is the 1965 self-titled debut album by The Four Tops. The album was written and produced by the Motown's main writing/producing team nd. Four Tops includes the singles "Baby I Need Your Loving" and "Ask the Lonely".
